Max-Henry COASSY Failed To Outrun Police

(OTTAWA, ON) � Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Ottawa Detachment have laid multiple charges after a male fled on foot during a traffic stop.
On April 17, 2024, shortly before 11:00 a.m., officers attempted to stop a vehicle on Highway 417, to check the licence status of the driver. Officers had received information from the Automated Licence Plate Recognition System (ALPR) that the owner of the vehicle was currently under a Criminal Code driving suspension. The driver fled on foot and was arrested by officers after a short foot pursuit.
Max-Henry COASSY, age 42, has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

The accused�s vehicle was impounded for 45 days. The male is scheduled to appear in Ottawa Court at a later date.
