4 Arrested For Theft � Names Released

(TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH, ON) � On April 6, 2024, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a theft from a business in Palmerston. It was reported that three suspects had stolen approximately $1000 in product from the retailer.

On April 12, 2024, at approximately 5:45 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a theft from a business in Arthur. It was reported that four suspects were attempting to steel approximately $2500 in product from the retailer. Officers responded and stopped the theft. Two of the suspects were recognized as being involved with the April 6, 2024, theft.

As a result of the investigation, Akashdeep SINGH, 19-years-old of Brampton, has been charged with Theft Under $5000, contrary to the Criminal Code. They are scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice � Guelph, on May 10, 2024.

Simranjit SINGH, 23-years-old of Brampton, has been charged with Theft Under $5000, contrary to the Criminal Code. They are scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice � Guelph, on June 28, 2024.

Jaspreet SINGH, 22-years-old from Brampton, have been charged with two counts of Theft Under $5000, contrary to the Criminal Code. They are scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice � Guelph, on May 10, 2024.

Ramandeep Singh SIDHI, 22-years-old of Brampton was charged with Resist Peace Officer and two counts of Theft Under $5000, contrary to the Criminal Code. Further, SIDHI was also charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance � Heroin contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. They were held for bail.
