3 Arrested For Break & Enter

(QUINTE WEST, ON) � Three people are facing charges after reports of a break and enter.
On August 5, 2024, members of the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), responded to a break and enter in progress at a Hydro One facility in the City of Quinte West.
Three parties were observed prowling inside the locked compound. As police arrived on scene the suspects fled the area. The OPP Emergency Response Team and OPP Canine Unit responded to assist with locating the three people a short time later.
Gyula KOVACS, age 38, Kalocsai LASZLO, age 21 and Kaloscsai LASZLO, age 45 all from North York, were arrested and charged with:
Mischief under $ 5000
Break, enter a place � with intent to commit indictable offence
All three accused remain in custody, with a bail hearing scheduled before the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.
