(NORTH CARIBOU LAKE FIRST NATION) � One Individual is facing multiple charges after a routine checkpoint inspection in North Caribou Lake First Nation.

On August 12, 2024, the North Caribou Lake detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) worked in collaboration with the North Caribou Lake Checkpoint Guards to conduct a routine vehicle inspection.



The inspection, and subsequent investigation, has resulted in the arrest of one individual and the seizure of suspected illicit substances including cocaine, and pills.

Trina Roundhead, 29-years-old, of North Caribou Lake has been charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) with:



Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking � opioid
Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking � Cocaine
Trina Roundhead was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Provincial Court on October 10, 2024.
