(MIDLAND,ON) � The driving actions of a south bound Ford F-150 with Ontario plate PJLEG on Main Street Penetanguishene at the Poyntz Street traffic lights near 5:20 p.m. August 8, 2024, caught the eye of a patrol officer from the Southern Georgian Bay OPP Detachment. leading into a stunt driving investigation.

The officer stopped the vehicle nearby and spoke with the driver of the vehicle and caused the officer to further enter into an impaired driving investigation.



As a result of these investigations, Peter LEGALLIS 45 years of Penetanguishene has been charged criminally with the following.

Operation while impaired � alcohol and drugs
Operation while impaired � blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
and further with



Drive motor vehicle � Perform Stunt contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
The accused was released from custody to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on August 22, 2024, was served a 90 day driver�s licence suspension and the involved vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days in accordance to the Ministry of Transportation (ADLS) guidelines.
