Drunk Driver Arrested In Walkerton

(WALKERTON, ON) � South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested a driver after a collision on Durham Street Walkerton, in the Municipality of Brockton.

On August 28, 2024, at approximately 10:14pm, OPP, Brockton Fire, and Bruce County EMS responded to a single motor vehicle collision in Walkerton. As a result of the investigation officers believed that the driver was impaired by alcohol; they were subsequently placed under arrest and taken to a Qualified Breath Technician for breath tests.

Gregory SIMPSON, 27-years-old, from Mildmay was charged with:

Impaired operation of a motor vehicle
