(BRANT COUNTY, ON) � One individual is facing several charges after a member with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Brant County Detachment initiated a traffic stop Tuesday afternoon in Newport.
On Tuesday September 10, 2024 at approximately 12:12 p.m., an officer with Brant County OPP initiated a traffic stop on Newport Road in the County of Brant. The officer observed the vehicle driving on Cockshutt Road and initiated the traffic stop to confirm valid licencing and vehicle registration.
Jordan HAULEY, 30-years-old from Brantford is charged with the following offences:
� Adult Resist Peace Officer
� Adult Use plate not authorized for vehicle
� Adult Driving while under suspension
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Brantford, Ontario at a later date.
