(CARLETON PLACE, ON) – A Lanark County resident has been charged with sexual assault after a good Samaritan reported seeing a disturbing video on social media



On Wednesday, September 11, 2024, an individual contacted the OPP after seeing a video on social media that showed a sexual assault taking place.

Officers with the Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) immediately launched an investigation. They located the victim and the located the accused in another location.

Dylan COOPER, age 26 of McDonalds Corners, has been charged with sexual assault.

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Monday, September 16, 2024.
