Hwy 11 Drug Bust � Names Released

(ENGLEHART, ON) � Cocaine, drug paraphernalia and cell phones were seized during a traffic stop on Highway 11.
On September 11, 2024, at approximately 3:00 a.m., the North East Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) with the assistance of the Kirkland Lake and Temiskaming Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Highway 11, south of Englehart.
Three occupants of the vehicle were arrested for possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. During the investigation, officers seized drugs suspected to be cocaine, with an estimated street value of $18,000. Also seized were three cell phones, packaging and scales.
As a result of this investigation, Alexander ISHERWOOD 32-years-of-age of Swastika, Mark JAMIESON 35 years-of-age of Charlton, and Kyla KIPLING 27 years-of-age of Kirkland Lake, were arrested and charged with possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking � Cocaine.
All three accused persons were held in custody for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Haileybury on September 11, 2024.
