(GREATER NAPANEE, ON) � The Lennox and Addington (L&A) County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged two people after they were located in a stolen vehicle.
On September 12, 2024, just before 9:00 a.m., officers were dispatched to a report of a vehicle being parked on Salmon River Road in Napanee with two individuals inside. Investigation revealed the vehicle to have been stolen. Officers attended the scene and arrested two people.
As a result, Trevor TUCKER, age 47, of Lennox and Addington County was charged with:
Failure or refusal to comply with demand
Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code � 13 counts
Having care or control of a motor vehicle with liquor readily available
Possess unmarked cigarettes
This accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Claude ROY, age 64, of no fixed address was charged with:
Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
This accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on November 5, 2024.
