(BURLINGTON, ON) � Members of the Burlington detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a fatal collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV on Highway 403, Burlington.
On September 16, 2024, approximately 9:40 a.m., officers responded to a serious collision on Highway 403 east bound, between Waterdown Road and Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW), Burlington, involving a motorcycle and an SUV. Sadly, the driver of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased at scene. The driver of the SUV was uninjured.
Members of the OPP Traffic Support Unit (TSU) are at scene assisting with the investigation. All east bound lanes of Highway 403 are currently closed at Waterdown Road and the closure is expected to remain for several hours.
The investigation is ongoing and officials are asking for witnesses who may have seen the collision, or may have dashcam footage, to call the OPP Burlington Detachment at 1-888-310-1122 and refer to incident number E241242094.
