(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) On September 14, 2024, at approximately 11:30 pm officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Wellington County Detachment were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program at the intersection of Hanlon Parkway and Speedvale Ave West within the City of Guelph.
During the initiative, a vehicle was stopped, and the driver was assessed for sobriety. As a result of the investigation, Mallory HAYES, 23-years-old of Ottawa, was charged with:
Operation While Impaired � blood alcohol concentration 80 plus contrary to the Criminal Code
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice � Guelph, at a later date.
