(THUNDER BAY, ON) � On September 29th, 2024 at approximately 8:06 p.m., officers from the Thunder Bay & Shabaqua Detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call for service regarding a motor vehicle collision along Highway 588, near Blaikie Road, within the Township of O�Connor.
Through the investigation, it was determined that the driver involved in the motor vehicle collision had been consuming alcoholic beverages, was placed under arrest & further testing was administered.
As a result of the investigation, Ashley RICHARD, 39, of Thunder Bay, was charged with:
Dangerous Operation;
Operation while impaired � alcohol and drugs;
Failure or refusal to comply with demand;
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay on November 27th, 2024.
