(ST. CLAIR, ON) � On October 1, 2024, shortly after 11:00 p.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) initiated a traffic stop on Kimball Road, St. Clair Township, after observing a motor vehicle towing a trailer.
Investigation revealed that the trailer was reported stolen out of the Municipality of Lakeshore on October 15, 2023.
As a result of the investigation, Marc REGNIER, 48-year-old of Chatham-Kent has been arrested and charged under the Criminal Code, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, Highway Traffic Act, and the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act with the following offences:
Possession property obtained by crime over $5,000
Possession of a schedule I substance � Fentanyl
Use plate not authorized for vehicle
Possess more than one licence
Draw trailer, no plate
Operate a motor vehicle without insurance
The accused was released from police custody and is set to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on November 13, 2024, in the City of Sarnia.
Jennifer STUBBS, 43-year-old of Chatham-Kent was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code and Controlled Drugs Substances Act for the following offences:
Possession property obtained by crime over $5,000
Possession of a schedule I substance � Fentanyl
Possession of a schedule I substance � Methamphetamine
Possession of a schedule I substance � Cocaine
The accused was released from police custody and is set to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on November 13, 2024, in the City of Sarnia.
