(MULMUR, ON) Members of the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Grey Highlands resident with impaired operation related offences as the result of a traffic complaint.
On October 25, 2024, just after 9:30 p.m., Dufferin OPP officers were dispatched to a traffic complain in the area of Highway 89 in the Township of Mulmur. The officers located the vehicle and were quickly led into an impaired driving investigation.
Michael BACHELDER, a 49-year-old male, from Grey Highlands has been charged with:
Operation while impaired alcohol and drugs
Operation while impaired blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused individual is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville. Their drivers licence was suspended 90 days, and their vehicle impounded for 7 days.
