(ORANGEVILLE, ON) Members of the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an Orangeville resident with impaired operation related offences as the result of public complaint.
On November 3, 2024, just after 4:00 p.m., Dufferin OPP officers received a public complaint about a possible impaired driver in the area of Broadway in the Town of Orangeville. Officers located the vehicle and were quickly led to an impaired driving investigation.
Marilyn HAYWARD, a 54-year-old female, from Orangeville has been charged with:
Operation while impaired blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
Operation while impaired alcohol and drugs
The accused individual is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville. Their drivers licence was suspended 90 days, and their vehicle impounded for 7 days.
