(SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP, ON) � The Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual with impaired driving after a single vehicle collision.

On November 26, 2024, at approximately 2:00 a.m., Huronia West OPP officers responded to a single vehicle collision in Springwater Township. Officers located the vehicle on Crossland Road north of County Road 92, where they conducted an impaired driving investigation. As a result, Cassidy Lynn EMMETT, 29-year-old of Wasaga Beach, was arrested and has been charged with the following:

� Operation while Impaired � Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)

The accused is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
