(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) � An individual has been charged following an impaired driving investigation in Simcoe.

At approximately 9:40 p.m. on Monday, November 25, 2024, officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment responded to and investigated a single-vehicle collision on Oakwood Avenue in Simcoe, Norfolk County.

It was determined that a sedan was travelling on Oakwood Avenue when it left the roadway and went down an embankment. No injuries were reported.

After assessing the driver�s sobriety at the scene, the driver was taken into custody without incident.

37-year-old Kayla MILLER of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:

Operation while impaired � alcohol and drugs,
Operation while impaired � blood alcohol concentration (80 plus),
Dangerous operation.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
