(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) � An individual has been charged following an investigation into an impaired driving incident in Simcoe.
At approximately 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Argyle Street in Simcoe, Norfolk County.
The vehicle was located on Sydenham Street in Simcoe, where officers spoke with the driver and discovered a quantity of suspected methamphetamine inside.
The driver was subsequently taken into custody without incident.
34-year-old Mark MYCHAJLUK from Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:
Operation while impaired � alcohol and drugs,
Possession of a Schedule I substance � methamphetamine.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.
