Hwy 11 Meth Bust � Names Released

(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON) � The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Festive Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program has led to significant drug seizures and charges against two individuals.

On December 8, 2024, at approximately 11:50 p.m., the Kirkland Lake OPP was conducting a RIDE initiative on Highway 11 in Kenogami. Upon speaking to the driver, police observed open alcohol, cannabis and drug paraphernalia readily accessible to the driver.


A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of approximately 783 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 64 grams of cocaine and 7 grams of Ecstasy, with an estimated street value of $85,000.



As a result of the investigation, Brayton EVANS-ANDERSON, a 26-year-old from Latchford has been charged with:

� Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking- methamphetamine

� Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking- cocaine

� Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking- ecstasy

� Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000

� Driver fail to surrender licence

� Driving motor vehicle with open container or liquor

� Drive vehicle with cannabis readily available

� Obstruct plate

� Drive with window coated- view obstructed

The accused is next scheduled to appear before the Kirkland Lake Ontario Court of Justice in Kirkland Lake on January 9, 2025.

Additionally, Jessica BOUDREAULT, a 34-year-old from Kirkland Lake has been charged with:

� Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking- methamphetamine

� Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking- cocaine

� Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking- ecstasy

� Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000

The accused is next scheduled to appear before the Kirkland Lake Ontario Court of Justice in Kirkland Lake on January 10, 2025.
