Child Sexually Assaulted � 31 Year Old From Brussels Arrested

(NORTH PERTH, ON) � An individual was charged with multiple criminal offences following a traffic complaint involving a snowmobile in the Municipality of North Perth.

On February 2nd, 2025 members of the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a complaint of a possible impaired driver on a snowmobile. While investigating the traffic complaint, the OPP received additional information that the accused had sexually assaulted a youth.

The OPP located the 31-year-old resident of Brussels who was charged with the following Criminal Code Offences:

Operation while impaired
Operation while impaired � blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
Dangerous operation
Sexual interference.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Stratford on February 24th, 2025.
