High School Assault

(HUNTSVILLE, ON) � On March 19, 2025 at 11:40a.m., the Huntsville OPP officers responded to a report of an assault at the local High School.
The investigation revealed the accused, a male student, had allegedly threatened and then assaulted another student. The victim sustained injuries that required medical care. The extent of injuries are yet to be determined.
As a result of the investigation the accused was arrested and charged
� Assault Causing Bodily Harm
� Uttering Threats � To cause bodily harm.
The accused was released to the care a parent and is to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge Ontario on May 8, 2025. The name of the accused is not released as per the restrictions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act and to respect the privacy of the victim.
