Drunk Drivers Being Arrested 2 At A Time Now In Kincardine

(KINCARDINE, ON) � On March 22, 2025, at approximately 10:49 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a disturbance in the area of King Street, Municipality of Kincardine.

On arrival, police discovered that the subject of the complaint had been operating a motor vehicle. The investigating officer detected signs of impairment from the involved driver. While investigating the initial matter, a second vehicle approached the area, nearly striking a police cruiser. The investigating officer detected signs of impairment from the involved driver of the second vehicle. Both drivers were placed under arrest and transported for further testing.

David JEFFERY, 47-years-old, of New Brunswick, was charged with:

Operation while Impaired � blood alcohol concentration (80 plus), CC 320.14(1)(b)
Possession of a Schedule I substance, CDSA 4(1)
Benjamin NOWAK, 49-years-old, of the Municipality of Kincardine, was charged with:

Dangerous Operation, CC 320.13(1)
Both accused drivers are set to appear at the Walkerton Court of Justice at a later date to answer to the charges.
