(RED LAKE, ON) � Members of the Red Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment have arrested and charged one individual with impaired operation.
On April 7, 2025, shortly after 11:30 p.m., members of the Red Lake Detachment of the OPP conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle to check on sobriety on Highway 125.
Through investigation, it was determined that the driver of the motor vehicle was impaired by drug. The driver was subsequently placed under arrest and transported back to the Red Lake OPP Detachment for further testing.
Chad BRANNAN, 20-years-old, of Wabigoon, Ontario has been arrested and charged under the Criminal Code, Liquor Licence and Control Act, and the Cannabis Control Act with:
� Operation while impaired � alcohol and drugs
� Driving a motor vehicle with open container of liquor
� Drive vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available
The accused was released from custody, and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Red Lake on May 15, 2025.
