(WASAGA BEACH, ON) � The Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual with impaired driving related charges because of a traffic tip.

On April 10, 2025, at approximately 1:40 p.m., Huronia West OPP officers responded to a traffic tip of a possible impaired driver on Mosley Street in the Town of Wasaga Beach.

Officers were able to locate the vehicle which was pulled over facing northbound on Sunnidale Road. After speaking with the owner/driver, officers noticed an odour of alcohol on the individual�s breath and conducted an impaired driving investigation. As a result of the investigation, Michaelia CALLAN, 58-year-old of Springwater Township, was arrested and has been charged with the following:

� Operation while Impaired � Alcohol and Drugs

� Operation while Impaired � Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus)

� Failure to Comply with Release Order � Other Than to Attend Court

The accused is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
