(LEAMINGTON, ON) � One person has been charged with impaired driving after a traffic complaint in Leamington.

On April 16, 2025, at approximately 11:05 p.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a traffic complaint on Highway #77 in the Town of Leamington.

Diego AVILA MARTINEZ, 26-years-old of Kingsville, was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

Operation while impaired � blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
Operation while impaired � alcohol and drugs
A 90-day Administrative Driver�s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice � Windsor on May 6, 2025, to speak to the charges.
