2 Arrested For Break & Enter

(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON) � The report of a break and enter has resulted in multiple charges for two Kirkland Lake residents.
On Friday April 4, 2025, at approximately 1:30 p.m., the Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a break and enter on Highway 66, in the Township of Larder Lake. The residence of a senior had been unoccupied at the time of the break and enter, over $25,000 of household items had been stolen and many items have since been recovered.
As a result of the investigation, Stephanie WINCIKABY, a 45-year-old of Kirkland Lake was arrested and charged for the following:
� Break, enter a place � commit indictable offence
� Mischief over $5,000
� Theft under $5,000
� Possession property obtained by crime under $5,000
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kirkland Lake on May 15, 2025.
Additionally, Richard MCDONALD, a 47-year-old of Kirkland Lake was arrested and charged for the following:
� Break, enter a place � commit indictable offence
� Mischief over $5,000
� Theft under $5,000
� Possession property obtained by crime under $5,000
The accused was released from a bail hearing and is scheduled to next appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kirkland Lake on May 15, 2025.
