(CLEARVIEW TOWNSHIP, ON) � The Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual with impaired driving related charges because of a traffic tip.
On April 20, 2025, shortly after 10:00 p.m., Huronia West OPP officers responded to a traffic tip of a possible impaired driver in the Clearview Township.
Officers were able to locate the vehicle on Highway 26. During the interaction, officers formed grounds that the driver�s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by drugs, leading to an arrest. As a result of the investigation, Ericka MELIN, 30-year-old of Ottawa, was arrested and has been charged with the following:

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Collingwood on June 3, 2025, to answer to the charges.
