BAILEY Arrested For Impaired Driving

(WELLINGTON NORTH TWP, ON) � Wellington County OPP received a traffic complaint which led to an individual from South Bruce, ON being charged with impaired driving related charges.
On April 25, 2025, at approximately 9:30 p.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were notified of a possible impaired driver on Wellington Road 109, east of Teviotdale.
As a result of the investigation, Steven BAILEY, 43-year-old of South Bruce, ON, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following:
Operation while impaired � alcohol and drugs
Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
A 90-day Administrative Driver�s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice � Guelph on May 6, 2025.
