(NORTHUMBERLAND, ON) � Members of the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual in relation to sexual offences in the Municipality of Port Hope.
The Northumberland OPP Crime Unit began the investigation on April 18, 2025, after receiving a report from a neighboring police service relating to alleged sexual offences. The victim was known to the accused.
On April 19, 2025, a search warrant was executed at a residence. The OPP Forensic Identification Services provided assistance with the investigation.
As a result, Anthony ZLOT, 59 years old from the Municipality of Port Hope, has been arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
� Assault
� Sexual interference
� Sexual assault
� Sexual exploitation
The accused was held for a bail hearing scheduled before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg on April 19, 2025.
