Repeat Offender Boyd Thomas RICHARDS Arrested Again

(ANRPRIOR, ON) � The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) are investigating an incident on O�Brien Road in Renfrew.

On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, Renfrew OPP responded to reports of a weapons related incident near a business on O�Brien Road in the Town of Renfrew. Two people were taken into custody at the scene.

No weapons were located at the time of the arrest, but the investigation is continuing.

Boyd Thomas RICHARDS, age 53 of Whitewater Region Township was charged with:

� Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking

� Fail to comply with probation order

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on June 18, 2025.

The second person arrested was released with no charges.
