Fatal Collision

(GUELPH, ON) � The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a fatal collision.

On May 14, 2025, at approximately 6:00 p.m., the Wellington County OPP received a report of a collision involving two motor vehicles on the Hanlon Parkway within the City of Guelph.



One person suffered serious life-threatening injuries and were transported to local hospital by ambulance where they were pronounced deceased.

As a result of the investigation, the Hanlon Parkway is closed in both directions between College Ave West and Stone Road West, Guelph.

It is anticipated that the road will be closed for the next six � eight hours while police continue to investigate.
