Fatal Motorcycle Collision

(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) � The Elgin Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Chatham-Kent Detachment, are appealing to the public for further information about a collision investigation occurring on Communication Road near Fairview Line, Municipality of Chatham-Kent.

On May 12, 2025, at approximately 3:30 p.m., a collision occurred involving a motorcycle and passenger vehicle.



The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased as a result of the collision.

Investigators of Elgin OPP would like to speak anyone who may have observed these vehicles prior to the collision, who observed the collision or who may have dashcam footage of the collision.
