(SELWYN TOWNSHIP, ON) � Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Peterborough County / Northumberland Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) arrested an individual as a result of a drug trafficking investigation.
In April of 2025, the Peterborough / Northumberland CSCU along with Kawartha Lakes CSCU and the City of Kawartha Lakes Police, began an investigation into trafficking of Fentanyl and Cocaine.
On Thursday May 14, 2025, members of the Peterborough County/Northumberland CSCU located and arrested an individual in Selwyn Township related to the investigation.
Christoff BROWN (age 29) of Pickering, ON., was arrested and charged with;
� Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking � Cocaine
� Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking � Opioid
� Fail to comply Release Order � Five counts
The accused was held for Bail to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough.
As a result of the arrest, the following items were seized;
� 280 grams Cocaine
� 56 grams Fentanyl
� Two cell phones
At the time of the arrest, the accused was also wanted by the Toronto Police Service.
