Billy WIEBE Was Arrested

(LEAMINGTON, ON)- On June 4, 2025, at 4:45 p.m., members of the Leamington Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment were dispatched to a single vehicle in the ditch on Mersea Road 2 at Carr Avenue in the Municipality of Leamington.



Officers arrived on scene and upon speaking to the driver and passenger, determined there were no injuries. Officers determined that the driver had previously consumed alcohol.

As a result, Billy WIEBE, a 25-year-old of Kingsville, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with:

� Operation while impaired � alcohol and drugs

� Operation while impaired � blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

� Operation While Prohibited � Legal Restriction from any other Act of Parliament or Provincial Law

� Novice Driver B.A.C. above zero

� Use plate not authorized for vehicle

� Possess more than one licence

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor on June 20, 2025.
