Repeat Offender Attempts To Ram Cruiser

(HALDIMAND COUNTY) � An individual is facing charges after attempting to ram a cruiser in Cayuga.



On June 18, 2025, at approximately 1:55 a.m. the Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) took a driver into custody after they intentionally drove towards a police vehicle.

The officer was forced to take evasive action to avoid a collision. No injuries were reported.

Morley CALLAN, 65-years-old from Caledonia has been charged with the following offences:

Dangerous Operation
Failure to Comply with Release Order � Other than to Attend Court
The accused remains in custody and is scheduled appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on today�s date.
