Drug & Weapons Bust � Names Released

(MIDLAND, ON) � As a result of an ongoing police investigation, an arrest has been made along with a significant seizure of drugs and Canadian currency after members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed search warrants simultaneously at a Penetanguishene residence and a Midland retail store at approximately 9:30 a.m. June 18, 2025



Officers from the OPP Community Street Crime Units (CSCU) from the Southern Georgian Bay, Muskoka, Huronia West and Collingwood Detachments along with members of the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU) and Canine Unit (K-9) and detachment uniform members executed search warrants at a Gignac Drive, Penetanguishene and Midland Avenue, Midland locations resulting in the arrest of 34 year old Tajuddin SHAHABUDDIN of Penetanguishene and the seizure of the following items.

�Significant amounts of Crystal Methamphetamine, Cocaine (powder), Crack Cocaine, Codeine pills, Dilaudid (Morphine) pills, Lorazepam pills, Oxycodone pills
Brass knuckles, 100 rounds 9mm ammunition
Approximately $47,000 of Canadian currency
Drug paraphernalia of Digital Scales, Vacuum Sealer and rolls of bags
The accused has been charged and held for a bail hearing and will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a future date on the following charges.
