43 Year Old From Huron East Arrested

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) � Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Huron East resident with several criminal offences following a suspicious vehicle complaint in the Municipality of Central Huron on June 2nd, 2025.



On Monday, June 2nd, 2025, Huron County OPP officers responded to a call for service on Kinburn Line in Central Huron at 08:40 a.m. Officers located a parked vehicle and spoke to the driver, who was subsequently arrested for impaired operation. The driver was transported to the Huron County OPP Detachment to conduct testing before a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) trained officer. As a result, the accused was charged as follows:

Shaun JAMIESON, 43 years-of-age from Huron East has been charged with:

� Operation while Impaired � Alcohol and Drugs,

� Possession of a Controlled Substance � (two counts).

The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for seven days. The accused driver�s licence was suspended for 90 days.

The accused was processed, and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for July 7th, 2025, at the Ontario Court of Justice � Goderich.
