(LOYALIST TOWNSHIP, ON) � Lennox and Addington County members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one person with impaired driving related charges over the weekend.

On Sunday, June 29, 2025, just after 10:00 p.m., L&A County OPP members were advised of a motor vehicle stopped in the middle of the road on Manitou Crescent in Amherstview. The vehicle was located by police and the driver was arrested.

Blair SCANLON, a 39-year-old from Amherstview, was charged with:



Operation while impaired � alcohol
Operation while impaired � over 80 mgs of alcohol
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on July 15, 2025. Their driver�s licence was suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle was impounded.
