(BRANT COUNTY, ON) � One individual has been charged with impaired driving following a motor vehicle collision in Burford, Ontario.

On June 30, 2025, at 12:07 a.m., members of Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision on Rutherford St in the village of Burford in the County of Brant.

As a result of the investigation, Colin AMY, 27-year-old of Brant County, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code and the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act with the following offences:



Operation while impaired � alcohol and drugs
Operate motor vehicle without insurance
A 90-day Administrative Driver�s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Brantford on July 17, 2025.
