Prohibited Driver Arrested In Central Huron

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) � Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Brampton resident with Prohibited Driving along with other offences following a traffic stop on August 8th, 2025.
On Friday, August 8th, just before 11:00 p.m., Huron County OPP officers conducted a traffic stop for a speeding vehicle on Huron Road in the Municipality of Central Huron.
The investigating officer confirmed that the male driver was prohibited from driving under the Criminal Code and was subsequently placed under arrest and taken into custody. The accused was additionally charged with three offences found in the Highway Traffic Act (HTA), and Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act (CAIA).
Solomon MAHIAGU, 51 years-of-age from Brampton, has been charged with:

The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for 45 days.
The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for September 15th, 2025, at the Ontario Court of Justice � Goderich.
