Copper Stolen From Hydro Poles In Goderich

(GODERICH, ON) � Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a theft of copper wire in Goderich that occurred sometime in August 2025.
On August 11, 2025, Huron County OPP officers were contacted by Erth Power staff in Goderich who reported theft of copper wire from nine hydro poles on Parsons Court. The value of the wire is several hundred dollars, however the cost of repair to the poles is estimated to be much more than that.
