(LAKESHORE, ON) � On September 2, 2025, at approximately 9:53 p.m., members of the Lakeshore Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment along with Essex-Windsor Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a report of a single vehicle collision on North Talbot Road in the Municipality of Lakeshore.
The driver was treated on scene for minor injuries. Upon speaking to officers, the driver displayed signs of impairment, as a result they were arrested and transported to a local detachment for further testing.
Michael CAILLE, 30-years-old, of Essex, was charged with:
Operation while impaired � alcohol and drugs
Operation while impaired � blood alcohol concentration (80 plus),
The accused is scheduled to appear on September 16, 2025, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor to answer to the charges.
The accused was issued a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension and a 14-day vehicle impoundment as per statute.
