Repeat Offenders Natalie MARTELL & Curtis GIBSON Arrested Again

(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON) � The Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested two people following an investigation into a series of copper wire thefts in the area.
In July 2024, the Kirkland Lake OPP launched an investigation after multiple reports of copper wire and related materials being stolen from mine sites and railway infrastructure throughout the region. The investigation has since linked three separate incidents to the same accused individuals.
As a result of the investigation Natalie MARTELL, a 46-year-old from Kirkland Lake was charged with:
� Break, enter a place � commit indictable offence � three counts
� Theft over $5,000 � three counts
� Mischief- destroys or damages property � three counts
� Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 � three counts
� Fail to comply with probation order
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Kirkland Lake Ontario Court of Justice on October 2, 2025.
Additionally, Curtis GIBSON, a 36-year-old from Kirkland Lake was charged with:
� Break, enter a place � commit indictable offence- three counts
� Theft over $5,000 � three counts
� Mischief- destroys or damages property � three counts
� Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 � three counts
� Fail to comply with probation order
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Kirkland Lake Ontario Court of Justice on September 18, 2025.
