(BROCKTON, ON) On September 21, 2025, at approximately 8:42 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a person stranded along the Saugeen River after their inflatable raft had punctured.
After approximately an hour into the search, officers located the individual. The Hanover Fire Department attended with a rescue vessel in order to bring them to shore, uninjured.
While inflatable watercrafts are a fun activity for the swimming pool, you put yourself at risk when attempting to take them down the Saugeen River or out on Lake Huron.
