ACW Resident Faces Impaired and Mischief Charges After ATV Incident � Name Released #OPP #Crime

(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH TWP, ON) � Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an ACW Twp resident with criminal offences following a collision investigation in ACW Twp on September 10th, 2025.
Just after 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, Huron County OPP officers responded to a report of a collision involving a pickup truck and an off-road vehicle on River Mill Line near Nile Road. While at the scene, police observed an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) attend the location. The ATV driver had consumed alcohol prior to operating the machine, and they were subsequently arrested for impaired operation. During transport and lodging, the accused damaged the police cruiser and cell area.
The accused has been charged as follows:
Ashton CLEMENTS, 26 years-of-age from ACW Twp, has been charged with:
� Impaired Operation � Over 80,
� Mischief to Property Under $5,000.
The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice � Goderich on October 20th, 2025.
