(PERTH, ON) � � The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Perth resident with impaired driving.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on Tuesday, October 16, 2025, just before 6:00 p.m. on Dufferin Street in Perth.



The driver was arrested and transported to the OPP Detachment in Perth for testing.

As a result of the investigation, Albert MEEKS, 62-years-old, has been charged with Operation while impaired � blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Monday, November 3, 2025.

The individual�s driver�s licence has been suspended for 90 days (Administrative Driver�s Licence Suspension), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
