(MISSISSIPPI MILLS TWP, ON) The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Campbellford resident with impaired driving.
Officers conducted a traffic investigation after a car vs deer collision on Saturday, October 18, 2025, just after 6:00 p.m. on Highway 7 in Mississippi Mills Township.
The driver was arrested and transported to the OPP Detachment in Ottawa for testing.
As a result of the investigation, Jordan PEGUTTER, 34-years-old, has been charged with:
· Operation while impaired blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
· Operation while impaired alcohol
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Monday, November 17, 2025.
The individuals drivers licence has been suspended for 90 days (Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
