Lee CARTIER Facing Numerous Charges

(MONTAGUE TWP, ON) � � The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an Ottawa resident with several offences including impaired driving.

Officers responded to a vehicle in the ditch on County Road 43 in Montague Township on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, just before 6:00 p.m.



The officers located the vehicle, arrested the driver, and transported the individual to the OPP Detachment in Carleton Place for testing.

As a result of the investigation, Lee CARTIER, 62-years-old, has been charged with:

� Failure or refusal to comply with demand

� Operation while impaired � alcohol

� Operation while prohibited

� Obstruct a Peace Officer

� Drive while under suspension -two counts

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Monday, November 24, 2025.

The individual�s driver�s licence has been suspended for 90 days (Administrative Driver�s Licence Suspension), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
