Clinton JOHNSON Arrested After Tractor Incident � Police Seek Dashcam Footage

(PERTH EAST, ON) � One person has been charged following a collision involving a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) and farm tractor in the Township of Perth East.
On November 20, 2025 shortly after 8:00 p.m. the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint involving a CMV. While searching for the vehicle police came across a motor vehicle collision on Perth Line 26 near Perth Road 110 where the CMV had collided with a farm tractor.
No one was injured as a result of the collision.
The driver of the CMV, 54-year-old Clinton JOHNSON of Central Huron was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
Operation while impaired � blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
Operation while impaired
Dangerous operation
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on January 5, 2026. The accused is also facing a 90-day drivers licence suspension and a 7-day motor vehicle impoundment.
